Kim Dillon
is a graduate of Auburn University with a degree in Social Work. She spent much of her early career with a Fortune 500 company in the Health Care Industry. Kim and her husband are the parents of 3 grown sons, two of whom are twins. Kim has always had a passion for children with learning differences, but when one of her sons was diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome at the age of 8, she put that energy into even broader action. She became committed to help families with similar challenges. In 2005 Kim became a certified parent educator in Positive Discipline. Kim is a counselor in training working toward a masters degree and dual licensure in Professional Counseling and Marriage and Family Therapy at LeTourneau University. Kim uses an integrative approach to parent education combining the most relevant theoretical and practical modalities to best meet the unique needs of each individual and family. She finds the best family outcomes are seen when the strategies and mindset focus on strengths ... those of the parent as well as the child. Kim's history of many successful years in corporate America, paired with her education, training and experience regarding what drives children's behavior, has made her a sought after parenting expert.
